Alright you guys, it’s here, exactly what you all have been BEGGING for. “Lindsey, help me dress for work, date night, brunch, day to night, whatever…but please only include fall trends ON A BUDGET. I love your style, but I need more affordable options.” Well, ask, and you shall receive my dears! In this post, I am partnering with JCPenney to style FOUR absolutely GORGEOUS, yet affordable, outfits that are straight off the runways of NYFW. Fashion Week may be over, but I wanted to give you a glimpse into how you can rock some of the NYFW trends on a budget. The caveat? Every single piece had to be less than $100 and on-trend for the fall season. Get ready to shop the best NYFW trends on a budget for fall, without sacrificing style.
NYFW TRENDS ON A BUDGET
In this post, you will find 4 outfits and 12 pieces that can be mixed, matched, and worn all season long. I have even included my ride or die lip crayon that I wore all week at NYFW. PS, did you know JCPenney carries our favorite Sephora brands, such as Urban Decay (hello Naked palette) and NARS? JCPenney is a shopping destination that has a great selection of on-trend pieces at great prices, offering incredible style AND value for the whole family, proving everything you need from fashion to beauty to kiddos. PLUS, theY are offering an additional discount up to 25% off using code NOWSAVE9. So ladies, let’s. get. started. Here are some of my favorite NYFW trends that I saw on the runways and on the streets of NYC, priced well under $100.
NYFW TRENDS: THE PLAID BLAZER
I told you guys LAST YEAR to go ahead and buy a plaid blazer. During the past 3 seasons of NYFW, I have seen more plaid blazers than I could even process. On the runways, in the streets, at events. And I have loved every single one them. For Spring, the runways revealed that oversized, structured blazers were here to stay but with even more unique proportions. For this outfit, I styled this Worthington plaid blazer ($70 before code) and striped tee with a.n.a (love this brand) black skinny jeans and black, leather booties. The result? An outfit that is chic, versatile, and affordable. Perfect for work or for play, you can easily take this outfit from day to night.

NYFW TRENDS : THE UTILITY JACKET
Same jeans, different top and jacket. I have received SO MANY compliments on this a.n.a anorak over the past couple of weeks. For this outfit, I styled it with the a.n.a black skinny jeans you saw in the first look, a blush pink dolman shirt from Worthington, and the cutest little jacket I ever did see (It comes in camo too, but more on that later). The entire outfit costs less than $200 and can be worn in a more casual office setting, for date night, or even running errands around town. Again, chic but affordable and oh so flattering. Oh, and these Converse sunnies are an EXACT dupe of the ones you always see me wearing for a fraction of the price.

NYFW TRENDS : BOUCLE JACKET + STATEMENT SLEEVES
I posted a sneak peek of this look on Instagram Stories, and you guys went CRAZY for this outfit. The boucle jacket is very Chanel-esque and that puff sleeve top though…WOWZERS. SO SO CUTE. I love that you can wear the jacket to meet your boyfriend’s parents for the first time, then throw it off for GNO! This look is stylish, sophisticated, flattering, and versatile. You could also pair the boucle jacket over a black sheath dress for work or even with a pair of dressy black joggers and sneakers for a more chic, casual look.

NYFW TRENDS: CAMO + CROPPED DENIM
Quick story before I get this look. The entire time we were shooting, it was sprinkling. As the evening progressed, it got dark. I mean, REALLY dark. All of sudden, the sky fell out. LITERALLY. Luckily, Stacy had a clear umbrella in her car, which coordinated perfectly with this outfit. But how epic are those shots with the umbrella?? AND even better? I found the exact same umbrella online at JcPenney here for $26. So, you can totally recreate this shot.
Anyways, back to the outfit. Over on Instagram Stories, I receive this question A LOT: “Is camo still in style?” YES, YES, YES. Like leopard, this print is here to stay. In fact, I even wallpapered one of the walls in Holden’s room in camo print. This is the same utility jacket I showed you in the first look but in the camo print. I styled it with a henley top and the same super flattering cropped, cuff jeans you see in the outfit above, both by a.n.a. The top only costs $29 (before the code), and the jeans only cost $19.60. They run TTS to slightly big, and I am wearing a 0 for reference.
