LUTZ LIST: Mother’s Day

SHOP THE POST

Welcome to the first edition of the LUTZ LIST. This is a quick read that I want to incorporate into the blog every week. It will feature some of my favorites from that week. That’s a daunting task, I know, but it can be anything from fashion, to gift ideas, to travel, to sales, to really whatever. So for our first edition, let’s talk about Mom’s Day. And not only Mother’s Day gift ideas, but also (moms) what to wear and what to do. So, without further adieu, here we go! Oh, and procrastinators rejoice…all of these items have expedited shipping. Takes one to know one, amirate?!

WHAT TO DO

Ok, dads. Here’s the deal…it is the THOUGHT that counts. We don’t expect anything extravagant, but we want you to have a PLAN. Don’t wake up Sunday morning and be like “what do you want to do today?” Ain’t gonna work.

Lunch with the family: Sometimes simple is better. Plan a fabulous brunch with the whole family! Make sure you get reservations and greet her with a “not from Publix” bouquet of fresh flowers.

Spa Day: You could arrange this for her by herself, with friends, or even with her mom. She will love it either way!

Picnic in the park: I LOVE this idea. Grab a bottle of champagne or rose and your baby momma’s favorite lunch, then head to the park with the whole family. Don’t forget the kite!

Breakfast in bed: Trust me, this will score you some maj points. Make sure you get the kiddos involved to help!

Date day with Dad: Arrange a babysitter and spend the entire day together. Start with a workout then head to the farmer’s market. Grab a fab lunch and spend the afternoon by the pool. She will love it!

THOUGHT THAT COUNTS

Don’t feel like you have to spend a ton of money. AGAIN, it is the thought that counts. Make a plan and show her you appreciate her. And of course, HAVE FUN!! Feel free to email me with any questions. I am HERE TO HELP!! Happy Mother’s Day, everyone!
