The great thing is there are SO many fabulous options under $200 this season, and so many styles beyond your typical brown or gray bootie. And let’s be honest…I am hashtag old AF, and ain’t nobody got time for achy feet (I’m looking at you, heels). For that reason, comfort has become my number 1 priority!  So, without further adieu, here is my 2017 BOOT EDIT! In this guide, you will find the best fall boots of 2017 I have purchased this fall: OTK, SOCK, CHELSEA, SLOUCHY, and TRENDY (think red, white, patterned, and sparkly), as well as my absolute fav SPLURGE boots. Also, I will show you THE BEST UNDER $200 boots out there.

SO, get ready to love it, shop it, and by all means PIN IT to your favorite fashion board. Also, to shop, click on any of the bold links or images in widgets under each section. You can also shop the image directly below this post by clicking on each boot. Want to see how I styled the white boots shown in the image above? Check out my post all about Fall Florals!

FALL BOOT EDIT

OVER THE KNEE

This “trend” has definitely become more of a classic staple over the past few years. Rock with leggings, jeans, dresses, shorts, you name it. Take it all the way up your thigh or just right above your knee, but get ready to be a SHOWSTOPPER no matter what. Here are some of my absolute MUST HAVES across all price points.

SOCK

This is one of my FAV “new” boot trends. I have been buying sock booties for the past few years (remember my velvet Stuart Weitzman Clinger boots from last year?), but they have taken OFF this year. These boots cling a little to your ankles, elongating your legs. They look amazing with EVERYTHING. My FAV ones right now are these $60 RED Steve Madden sock boots. Get. Them, Before. They. Sell. Out. Again, here are allllll my favs.

SLOUCH

Yes, yes, and more yes. Give me ALL the 80’s fashion! I realize this is definitely a riskier trend, BUT there was NO WAY I was not including these bad boys in this post. Most slouch OTK boots can be work as regular OTK OR scrunched down. This is a more modern take on the under the knee boot as well. Love Tory Burch riding boots? Try updating the look with an on-trend pair of slouchy boots. I dare you!

CHELSEA

Classic, cool, comfy, and oh so chic, this boot has been around forever. However, all the fashion girls stick rock this staple item and look amazing doing it. This boot style is super easy to pull off and OH SO FLATTERING. There are high end options that will make you slap yo mama, but there are also so many less expensive options that are JUST as chic and just as comfortable. This is a MUST HAVE boot style.

TRENDY

Much like the slouchy boot, did you really think I would create a boot edit without a little trendiness? Of course not! Red, white, camo, sequins, oh my. The options are endless, and this boot style will up your cool-girl status instantly.

SPLURGE

Stuart Weitzman is my favorite high-end boot right now, but goodness there are soon many good ones. Like these Christian Louboutin sequin boots? I die. Practical? Nah. Fabulous? HELL YES. Or what about these Givenchy moto-inspired Chelsea boots? Get. In. My. Cart. If you are looking to make an investment on a classic boot, I highly recommend anything Stuart Weitzman or Prada. Both brands offer comfort, practicality, style, and longevity. Here are some of my recommendations.
