Happy Hump Day babes!!! I am wrapping up my trip to Savannah and CANNOT wait to get home to Mini! For whatever reason this week was a little harder. As I was packing late Monday night, I couldn’t help but get a little emo about leaving Asher. I keep hearing it’s supposed to get easier, but it seems like as he gets older, it gets harder to leave him. Ryan is such an amazing, hands on dad, and those two have a blast together. I am so thankful to have a hubs that is so supportive of my career and so helpful at home. But, I start to wonder, what am I missing? Is he going to start crawling while I’m away? Does he miss me? Is he sad? Last week, I stopped by Asher’s school to tell him goodbye on my way out of town. BIG mistake. For the first time, he reached up to me and started to cry as he saw me leave. Of course five minutes later, the teachers said he was fine. But I still cried my way to Jacksonville. When I’m traveling, Ryan sends me snaps of Asher every day, which of course I absolutely LOVE. I have literally thousands of pictures of Asher on my phone that I have taken over the last eight months. However, the photos that Rachel and Noah have taken of us as a family have are PRICELESS (note to self: print these ASAP!). Last week, I worked with Rachel and Noah on a Mommy and Me shoot with Asher. UM, these pictures turned out to be ah-may-zing. He was an absolute doll, being super smiley and very flirtatious with the camera. He was totally working it…SUCH a little ham. Rachel and Noah are now offering these shoots for a limited time. Yall, let’s talk about his outfit for a second. UM I DIE. Is this not the cutest chambray shirt you have ever seen? And the cut off denim shorts and denim bow tie are just too much. My dear friend Chad Ellis of Charles Ellis Sartorial (shop his online boutique HERE), made Asher his own bespoke pocket square. What an amazing gift, and it completes the outfit perfectly. You guys know that Asher is OBSESSED with his Freshly Picked moccs.
